BOUCHLED, Boochled, ppl.adj. Muffled up. Prob. to be associated with Eng. buckle, to fasten on, in an intensified use. Cf. Buckle, v., 3. [′buxld]Arg.1 1932:
Bouchled, boochled, over-wrapped with garments. “It wuz the heicht o' summer, an' there he wuz boochled up wi' a big gravat roon his neck.”
