Dispoilȝe, -polȝe, v. Also: dispoy(i)lȝe, dyspoyleyhe, dyspolȝe. [Normal Sc. var. of Dispoilev. Cf. Dispulȝe v.] tr. To despoil, strip. Also fig. a1400 Leg. S. xviii. 1027.
Thai that thame dyspolȝeis of syne & consciens clene has thame in Ib. xxii. 322.
Decius … bad that he Dispolȝeit of his clathis suld be c1420 Wynt. v. 1340.
