YUGLET, adj. Also yuglit, joglitt (Sh. 1908 Jak. (1928)). Of a sheep: having a colour round the eyes different from that of the rest of the body (Sh. 1914 Angus Gl.). Also used coll. as a n.Sc. 1951 Scots Mag. (Nov.) 84:
The yuglet with black or white circles round the eyes.
Sh. 1962 New Shetlander No. 63. 29:
Dir “yuglit yowes,” dat is, da colour roond da een is no da sam is da rest of da boaddie.
