UNSTOUT, adj. Also unstoot. Of persons: in poor health, weakly; not powerful or steadfast. See Stout, adj. Obs. in Eng.Lnk. a.1779 D. Graham Writings (1883) I. 107:
Long to resist they seem'd unstout.
Fif. 1899 Proc. Philos. Soc. Gsw. XXXI. 40:
Stout means robust, and unstout weakly.
Lth. 1926 Wilson Cent. Scot. 129:
