UNHEELINT, adj. Unpleasing in appearance, roughly or clumsily made, gen. in neg. sentences. The usage is due to a misunderstanding of Hieland, II. 5. (5), id.Rxb. 1927 E. C. Smith Braid Haaick 23:
That hyimm-made ruffie (knitted neck-ruff) o yoors looks nane sae unheelint.
