¶UNFORSAIRED, ppl.adj. Undeserved. In the first quot. the word is an emendation for the textual unforsained, otherwise unattested, the conjecture being supported by Ross's later use in the second quot.Abd. 1768 A. Ross Helenore (S.T.S.) 30:
Frae them am I, 'tis there my wrang is wrought, Wrang unforsain'd, and that we never bought.Abd. p.1768 A. Ross Works (S.T.S.) 172:
O gin I knew what way I could reward This public mark of unforsair'd regard.
