THEERIE, n. Only in phr. my theerie and my thorie, a children's game (see quot.).Sc. 1903 R. Ford Children's Rhymes 80:
“My Theerie and my Thorie,” with political significance, is a game widely played. . . . The players divide into two sides of equal number, in lines facing each other. Moving forwards and backwards the sides sing verse about.
