I. n. A drink of liquor, draught, dram (Sc. 1808 Jam.).

II. v. To drink, tipple.Abd. 1910 J. Grant Legends of Mar 256:
We ha'e mair important matters to mind than to be sittin' teuchin' a' nicht in a tipplin' hoose.
