SOVERTY, n. Sc. Law: surety. Arch.Sc. 1751 Caled. Mercury (14 Jan.):
Any Shipmaster, Merchant, or other Person, who shall find sufficient caution and Soverty acted in the Books of Adjournal.
Sc. 1752 J. Louthian Form of Process 86:
That he come and find the said Caution and Soverty.
