SOOCH, v., n.

I. v. tr. and intr. To quaff, to drink off, to swill, to be in a state of intoxication (Sc. 1825 Jam.).Bnff. 1866 Gregor D. Bnff. 174:
He soocht twa glass o' whisky on ivver haltit.

II. n. A copious draught of liquor (Sc. 1825 Jam.).
