CRAWFURDII. Zool. A specif. name of three Eastern birds, Zanclostomus, or bush cuckoo of Sumatra, Phassianus or Himalayan pheasant (1829 in G. R. Gray Genera Birds III. 460, 498), Picus or East Indian woodpecker (1829 J. E. Gray in Griffith's Cuvier (Aves) II. 513).
