CRAWICK GRAY, n.comb. The name of variety of curling-stone (see quot.).Sc. 1874 Channel-Stane (1883) I. 22:
Metal of a grey description also abounded in the beds of the streams, particularly in Crawick. These were called “Crawick Greys,”and were very keen.
