SLICKET, n. A nick, indentation or depression.Sc. 1891 J. G. McPherson Golf & Golfers 42:
If the bunker is shallow, with perhaps a little grass in the bottom, the player may show his skill by driving his ball with his middle spoon through a slicket of the bunker's edge.
