SEDDICK, n. Also saedick, sedek (Jak.). [′sɛdək]

1. A fishing-ground, a place frequented by fish (Sh. a.1838 Jam. MSS. XII. 191, 1908 Jak. (1928)).

2. A stool made of straw, a small seat (Sh. 1908 Jak. (1928)).Sh. 1877 G. Stewart Fireside Tales 40:
