SANTRIN, n. ? A collection, gathering.Ayr. 1809 W. Craw Poet. Epistles 45:
Mony a hellish fiend was there, Wi' brunies, spunkies, pair by pair, An' water kelpies 'yont compare. A fearfu' santrin.
