POBIE, n.2 A peak, a high hill (Sh. 1866 Edm. Gl., 1908 Jak. (1928)). Only in place-names as in quot.Sh. 1903 E.D.D.:
Fishermen all round these islands speak of the "Pobies o' Unst", i.e. Saxavord Hill, "da Muckle Pobie," and the Hjoag o' Crusifell, "Pobie littla".
