An' t'o' 'twas Paety's tongue, sheu t'ought, That meed sic' meen, like aen ootmought.

I wur fairly oot-moucht, atween rootin' an' rowin' . . . A laich an' maist peetifu' meen, as gin hid been a bothy ootmucht i' a bought o' the wark.
