ONHING, n., v. [′onhɪŋ]

I. n. Patient waiting (Bnff. 1866 Gregor D. Bnff. 120), “the act of meanly and lazily staying in a place”, tedious delay (ne.Sc., Ags., Per. 1964).

II. v. Vbl.n. onhingan, = n. (Ib.).
