OMER, n. A measure of meal (see quot.).Inv. 1845 Stat. Acc.2 XIV. 211:
The boll of meat consists of twenty pecks; the peck contains 5 pints English liquid measure; the country people, however, have a measure among themselves, used nowhere else, which they call an omer, containing two pecks.
