MUNTER, n. A small biscuit with a raised rim which is often filled with jam like a tart before eating (Arg. 1936 L. McInnes Dial. S. Kintyre 15).Arg.1 1929:
Munter. A small rimmed biscuit. The same when it has been filled — not in the shop, but at home — with jam or jelly.
