MOOSK, n. A sly, surly individual (Arg.1 1931). Adj. mooskach, surly, taciturn, sly (Id.). [mu:ʃk, -əx]Arg.1 1931:
The mair I see o' Baldy the less I lake him: tae my mind he's naethin but a moosk. The new man we hae got hesna much tae say for himsel: he's gey mooskach.
