LEELOLEY, int., n. Also -lay (Ork. 1929 Marw.), lee-a-lawly (Cai. 1907 County of Cai. (Horne) 78). (A call in) the game of tig. Cf. king-come-a-lay s.v. King, 3. (11).Ork. 1915 Old-Lore Misc. VIII. i. 16:
“Leeloley,” the command given when to run, in a game of tig.
Ork. 1923 P. Ork. A.S. 68:
There were also games played by mixed companies of boys and girls: “Lee-lo-ley,” for instance.
