HUIKETTY, adj. Also huketi, hookatie. Hooked, twisted, crooked (Sh. 1866 Edm. Gl.). Found only in I.Sc. riddle, as in quots.Sh. 1908 Jak. (1928):
Only reported in the current, versified riddle about the meadow and the brook: Huketi, kruketi, hwar rinns du? You bent one, you crooked one, where are you running to? (the meadow's inquiry of the brook). Klippet tail every year, why spörs du? you, that get your tail cut every year, why do you ask that?

Huiketty-kruiketty whar rins thoo? Clippet tail every year — why speers thoo?
