HOPPIE-BOWFFIE, n. Also hoppie-dowfie. 1. hoppie-bowffie, a game where a player hopping on one foot with the arms folded tries to upset another player in the game by bumping up against him with the shoulder (Abd. 1930). See also Hippie Dunchie, id.; 2. hoppie-dowfie, = 1. (Fif. 1957).
