GREENICHTIE, Greenichty adj. Greenish (Bnff., Abd. 1955). [′grinɪti]Bnff.2 1940:
I cud hardly tell ye fit like it wis; it hid a kyn o' greenichtie colour.
Abd. 1995 Flora Garry Collected Poems 32:
... An the bobbin greenichty lichts
I' the moss on winter nichts.
