GHEEHO, n. A “galoot”, an uncouth, blustering fellow (Arg. 1936 L. McInnes Dial. S. Kintyre 14); “once fairly common among the coarser working classes but now seldom heard” (Arg.1 1944). [′gi′ho:]Arg.1 1931:
That fella's aye bouncin, but hoot else can ye expec' frae a bit gheeho lake him.
