FEENICHIN, Feeneekin. adj., n. Sc. forms of Eng. finicking, fussy.

I. adj. Foppish, fantastical (Fif. 1825 Jam.).

II. n. (the last syllable being phs. thought of as -kin, dim. suff.). “A person of small stature, and tart, finical disposition” (Bnff. 1866 Gregor D. Bnff. 224).
