EENIE, v. To give birth to a lamb (Cai.3, Cai.9 1949). See also Ingy, Yean, v., id. [′eini]Cai. 1916 John o' Groat Jnl. (7 April):
A ewe or two was generally kept, and when a ewe had lambs she was said to “eenie.”
