EASTIE-WASTIE, n. comb. An unreliable person, “one on whose word there can be no dependance” (Ags. 1808 Jam.); sc. one who is undecided as to the direction he should take. Also used as an adj. = changeable in mood or opinion; undecided, hesitant.Sc. 1829 E. Logan Restalrig xiii.:
