DOGGIE-HIP, v. To knock a person under the hips with one's knee. Cf. dog(gie)'s brose s.v. Dog, III. 1. Abd. 1929 4 :
“Catch all the salmon (skipping-rope game). Count 10, catch in the rope as many as possible; haul them to prison; then doggie-hip them out of prison: they run off free.
