DOGGERLONE, n. In phr. to gae to doggerlone, to go to the dogs. Cf. dog-drave, s.v. Dog, III. 1.(10).Sc.(E) 1868 D. M. Ogilvy Willie Wabster's Wooing 7:
Skrunkit and slidderie as the Strone, And maist aw' gane to doggerlone.
