DOCUS, Docas, n. A stupid fellow (Sc. 1808 Jam.; Ayr. 1900 E.D.D.). Also used attrib.Sc. 1819 J. Rennie St Patrick II. xii.:
Eh man, but ye maun be an unco docus to mistak the yowlin o' a wheen dougs for the squeelin' o' ghaists an' deevils!
