CONTIGUE, adj. Contiguous, adjacent.Sc. 1780 Caled. Mercury (20 Nov.): 
These lands consist of about 128 Scots acres lying all quite contingue.
Gsw. 1702 Gsw. Records (Burgh Recs. Soc. 1908) 347:
Four [seats] . . . contigue in the head of the trans or entry.
