CASS, v. A legal term: to annul, repeal. Obs. in Eng. by end of 17th cent. (N.E.D.).Sc. 1851 Origines Paroch. Scot. (Bannatyne Club) I. 333:
Pope Benedict XIII, who on his elevation to the papal see in 1394 had cassed and annulled all annexations of churches, mensal or otherwise, which had not been actually carried into effect.

The magistrats and councill doe now rescind, cass and annull.
