BLEEZY, adj. Affected in the eyes, as by alcoholic excitement. Cf. Bleeze, v.2, 3.Sc. 1833 Fraser's Mag. VII. 622:
Their faces grew red and their eyes bleezy.
Per. 1898 E.D.D. s.v. blazed:
Bleezy. Known, but not common.
Ayr. 1830 Galt Lawrie Todd vi. vii.:
A red face and bleezy eycs.
