BLAW-STICK, n. A tube used as a bellows.Kcb.4 c.1900; Kcb.9 1934:
Blaw-stick. A piece o' boortree wi' the heart bored out, through which an auld wife . . . blew to kindle up the fire afore bellows were in vogue.
