1. A minister.Ags. 1894 Arbroath Guide (25 Aug.) 3/7:
Never believe ony man, although he promise to marry ye, until ye hae him afore Black Breeks.
2. A coffin.Ags. 1934 (per Ags.1):
I doot my neist suit 'll be the black breeks.
