BEELERIN', ppl.adj. Alive with trout (of a burn). [′bilərɪn]Dmf. (Upper Annandale) 1933 (per Dmf.8):
They [the fish] come [pa.t.] oot aneth the broos fair jowlin', the water jist beelerin' ower the line, and my wand bent like a half-mune.

[Perhaps connected with Bell, v.1, to bubble up, through a frequentative *beller.]
