Bar-claw, small claw high up on the inner-side of a dog's hind-leg.
Sh. 1914 Angus Gl.:
Bar-claw, a claw on a dog's hind leg additional to the usual number of claws. [Also known to Sh.4 1933]

2. adj. (See quot.)Sh. 1908 Jak. (1928):
Bar-clawed, of a dog: with claw high up on the inner side of its hind-leg; “double bar-clawed”: with two “bar-claws.” [Known to Sh.4]
