Back-bond; is a deed attaching a qualification or condition to the terms of a conveyance or other instrument.
Sc. 1911 S.D.D.:
Back-band, a bond that nullifles or modifies a former one entered into for a special and temporary purpose. [Not used now (A.C.M.).]
