3. Obstinate. (Also in Eng. dial.)Bnff.2 1932:
Ye winna shift Pinnies; he's a gey awkward lad t' deal wi' fin he taks 't on.
Abd. 1872 J. G. Michie Deeside Tales (1908) 186:
