AUGMENTATION, n. Sc. law: an increase of stipend, to obtain which a parish minister had to raise an action (Process of Augmentation) in the Court of Teinds against the titular and heritors.Sc. a.1874 G. Outram Lyrics, Process of Augmentation i.:
