Wheery, Whiry, n. [Late ME and e.m.E. whery (1443), wherie (1534), whirry (1568), wheary (1569). Cf. SND Wherry n.] A wherry, a barge, rowing boat or the like. Also attrib. — 1640 Montgomery Mem. I 294.
