Visment, n.1 Also: wis(e)ment, vys(e)ment, wys(e)ment, vissment, visament. [Late ME and e.m.E. vysement (?1414), aphetic f. Avisement n.] a. = Avisement n., careful consideration; advice. b. Ane vysment, put for avysment by erron. division and substitution of ane for a. Cf. Vis(e n. b.a. c1420 Wynt. v 988 (C).
