Tascall, Tascaill, v. P.t. and p.p. taskalled, taskellit. [f. Tascal(l,n.] tr. To recover or assist in the recovery of (stolen goods) for reward. — 1602 Reg. Privy C. VI 416.
[Kye and oxen] … quhilkis he causit tascaill [pr. cascaill] and prove in his handes 1677 Argyll Justic. Rec. I 81.
And for covering of his being theif or airt or part of the said theift the said pannell went to the Laird of Lochnanell and taskalled the said kow for which he got thrie shilling sterling 1677 Highland P. III 36.
