Superfluitie, n. Also: -fluite(e, -flwitie, -fluyte, -flewite, -fleuytee, supperfluitie. [ME and e.m.E. superfluyte (Wyclif), superfluitee (Chaucer), superfluite (1526), superfluitie (1532), OF superfluité (c1180 in Larousse), med. L. superfluitat-. Cf. Superflew adj.]
