Recur(e, -cuir, Recour, v. [ME and e.m.E. rekure (Wyclif), e.m.E. also recoure (Spenser), L. recūrāre, also, in part, contracted var. of Recover v.]

1. tr. = Recover v. 1, 4, 5 and 6.Also absol. (or intr.), ? in sense 3 of Recover v.(1) a1500 Henr. Fab. 1149 (Harl.).
