Rauk, Rawk(e, adj. Also ? erroneous or ? variant form: roulk. [F. rauque (13th c.), L. raucus. Cf. 19th c. Eng. rauque (1848).] Of the voice: Raucous, hoarse.Also comb. in Rauk-vocit. c1450-2 Howlat 45 (B).
