Penny-male, -maill, n. Also: pen(n)ie-, pennye-, penney-, peny-, pene- and -mail(e, -mayle, -mall, -meal(l. [Penny n. and Male n.1 1.] The part of a rent paid in money.Chiefly sing. as a non-count noun, but also plur. in collective sense.(1) 1454 Chart. (Reg. H.) No. 335.
