Mutilat, v. Also: mutelat. P.t. mutil(l)at, mutulat(e, muitillet. P.p. Mutilat; also mittelatted. [e.m.E. mutulate (1534), mutilate (1616), L. mutilāt- p.p. stem of mutilāre (cf. Mutil(l)ing vbl. n.).]

1. tr. To mutilate or maim (a person). Also absol.To deprive (a person) of the use of a limb or other principal bodily organ, either by wounding or by cutting off the limb; to disable or to ‘dismember’.pres. t. Skene Reg. Maj. ii. 49 b (= 1384 Statut. Robt. II in 14.. Acts I. 186/2).

Here also the assemblie book wants two leaves. The maters being relating to bishops, it is easie to espy who did mutilat the register
